2.4 MFI Fuel lines

Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me what this pipe does? (see arrowed pipe in diagram) I think it's a vapour return tube, but I do not have this on my car (see photo). Also can anyone tell me where the hoses circled in "A" connect up to?

thanks Paul,

I'll have to fabricate this hose over the weekend.

Does anyone know where the 2 hoses circled "A" above connect too?

They connect to the gas tank via tubing that's routed through
the transmission tunnel. You should have two metal fuel lines
protruding just left of the boot that covers the shift coupler.

I just looked through check measure adjust and it most definitly runs back to the fuel tank. I think it's the return line from injection pump back to the tank. How your car runs without it amazes me.

i'm pretty surprised it works too, but it does!

I was thinking that maybe the hose that goes to clip 12 (in the circled area) in the diagram could go to the bottom of the airfiler box? i have a small drain pipe at the back of that box. Or would this be a water drain pipe?

Thanks Chaps,

I think i need to spend some time under the car at the weekend and fathom this out. I must have the main fuel lines attached correctly as the car runs and doesn't spray fuel out all over the place. So i just need to work out the routing of this vapour return hose. Can't be too complicated...... famous last words
