I found some trim for my 1976 911s. Some for the back window and below the driver and passanger window. How do I safely take off the old trim and apply the new? Thanks

the door trim, "belt line moulding" pries off straight up. Insert a plastic wedge tool, or suitable protected putty knife at the rear edge, pry up and work forward, replace the tape with electrical tape, this prevents chipping the paint when you reinsert the clips into the door. Along the rear quarter window , if you have pop out windows, unscrew, and the lower trim has #1 philips, look for the black spacers undr the trim, reapply some strip caulk. Back window trim inset in rubber, also known as "locking strip", coupe or targa, remove the window. search for window replacement threads. Coupe is easy, targa takes 2 people min. and experience. targas have trim that is also screwed under the rear rubber. the window has to come out to replace these.

Thom, no new lawyers? Come on man , Californication? try cow hampshire. Wife took 4 days and flew to Huntington beach for surfin, all she told me about was the land of beautiful people. You need a little perspective, Come to the barren NE, ask Mr von Bulow. its badddd....
