90 convertible top problem?

The button doesn't seem to work to make the top go up and down. Does anybody know how to fix it or a good porsche place that fixes the tops around the Whittier area, L.A. or Orange County area?

You have to have the ignition key turned to the first position to have the top operate, it will only work that way. It will not move if you have the key to the full ON position. JIM

I've tried that.

Which fuse is it or number? Is it in the area where all the fuses for the car are(in hood)?

yes it is in the front. I do not have the fuse number with me as my Bently manual is at home. But you could try just looking at each fuse to determine which one is blown. If the fuse is blown, there is probably a greater problem that you will have to track down.

Do you have the ability to raise and lower it manually?

Yes, but I wanted to do it electronically. It worked two weeks ago. But now it is not working for some reason.
