epoxy recomendation
i have recently gotten a carrera valence for my SC and i'm installing some ducks for brake and oil cooler cooling. I have gotten the fog light mounts motified to accomidate the duct inlets and I do not want to fasten it with screws. can anybody recommend an above average epoxy that will adhere plastic to the painted steel?

Paint is not the ideal surface to glue to. However, I would recommend Permatex 5-minute Plastic Weld. It comes in a double barrel syringe. Extremely effective on ABS plastic.

Yeah - make sure you scuff the paint up on both surfaces. West systems is my epoxy of choice - and they have some nice fillers too. Just make sure you scuff them up. - Oh I said that already!

yeah i know that paint aint so great. i plan on roughing it up a bit with some steel wool and sand paper. maybe even down to bare metal right around the opening that will be covered by a flange.
another question, is the carrera valence galvinized? it has the rough finish like you see in new cars to avoid rock chips, which my SC does not. thanks for the lead on the glue rick toby and oh yeah, GO GIANTS
