Talking New Ruf "Supercar"

I hope this has not already been posted, but while doing a Google for a Ruf engine, I came across the new Ruf "Supercar".

Looks cool, IMO.

Sweet! I betcha' it's relatively a bargain too, since it uses the 964 Turbo engine.

Hmm, you sure about that?I figured they meant the 993TT (3.6) motor.

Actually, I'm pretty sure it uses the 996TT engine (water cooled heads, case is the same as the 964 turbo though). The car is named "Godzilla" I believe.

The 964Turbo (965) used the 930 engine. That's right, 3.3L with CIS.
They upped the displacement to 3.6L in the Turbo3.6 model.

The 993TT was a completely different deal.

dd74 - did you ever get my e-mail? Your box was full at one point so I re-sent it. Curious to see what performance route you are taking.

According to AutoCar, the new Ruf supercar is based wholly on the late-model 996 Turbo, engine and all.
