? for Pertronix Users

Okay, I've looked now at over 100 old messages and cannot find this answer -- and I'm really feeling stupid. It's time to replace the points in my '77 2.7 and I thought I'd try Pertronix. Part way through the install I realized I couldn't figure out an egress point in the dizzy for the wires.... I have the Bosch with a hard plastic plug for the original black points wire to exit (two spade connections -- one one the inside and one on outside of dizzy). Do I use this as the exit point? (It seems difficult to remove in one piece.) There is no notch in the cap or dizzy for the wires to exit using the rubber plug that came with the ignitor. Where are the wires supposed to go? Do I have the right rubber plug? Thanks to previous posts I've got a handle on the wiring but can't figure this part out.... As usual, yours in confusion, I am.
