Is this an SC convention ?
Looks Great Bobby,
I like that you had a look in mind that is not the norm. There fun cars to personalize and still keep fairly stock.

I'm not sure what I will do to mine next ? I was thinking of going to 8's or 9's in the rear but I like the look of the Fuchs 6's for some reason in the front, the right angle in the lip just looks clean to me.
Cheers

Bobby,
I currently reside in Ohio... Dayton area...
I have yet to have any police bother me about them. maybe it is due to the large amount of amber fog lamps people run around with.. so they may not know I have no clear lamps.. anyhow .. I have still had no issues with them on, but I really don't drive a whole lot night just the early morning darkness and the dusk on the way home.....but I have driven at night before with out any problems, but they may be tighter on you up the in MN.. I don't know.SmileWavy

Schuey, Bob, Paul: very nice cars, but they really NEED Euro headlights! Just my $.02------

Headlights

I was thinking of doing the European headlights but I now have high intensity bulbs in Hella lenses and have grown to like the North American headlight rings

I like the look,

Just like this one better :)

And this SC even more ;) "There are many like it but this one is mine"

I actully bought some euro headlights and when I started putting them on I desided I liked the US look with the H4 bulbs. That way you know it's an SC coming or going as I left the fogs too but put the yellow lenses on them. I did spray the headlight plastic bezels mat black though. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1066855954.jpg

Great pics on this thread......

Glad you lost the tail, Bobby.
You were right in seeking a 'classic' look for your fine SC.

The only thing she needs is a SCWDP window sticker. I have a couple from the 'Private Reserve'. E-mail me your postal address, and I'll send 'em to you.

SpeedracerIndy 10-22-2003 06:02 PM

Just like everyone else, I thought you were talking about my car. I like your creativeness. I wouldn't have the guts to remove those wheels or the tail. I like that tail that it had a lot. Isn't that an early carrera tail???

I LOVE a chance to post a pic of my car! Mine is also a fog light-less SC with euro H4's. I am very partial to the look. Here she is:

Gotta say if you are going to back date an SC, the one with no sun roof, now electrics and a single mirror is the car to start with.

The other option would have been to give it to Eric or myself to strip out and make a track car for you :) Dropping under 2250# shouldn't be a big deal

It's never too late!! Shouldn' take either of us long.... the test phase might be a bit trying for you though.

You OK with that Eric?

RANDY P 10-22-2003 06:55 PM

no more fogs.....

Don't miss 'em a bit...http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1066877615.jpg

rdane 10-22-2003 07:06 PM

Randy did you buy a cooler to go with that sharp, new, valance or just jump into the Leman's head first and forget your beautiful 911 :)

ZAMIRZ 10-22-2003 07:29 PM

Randy, diggin the new valence. I love the artsy fartsy ways you photograph your car, always looks awesome.

s2per 10-22-2003 07:49 PM

After all, why have fogs when you can have brake ducts?http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1066880936.jpg
