Weber Carb Reference Query
I would appreciate some advice here.
I have just purchased a set of webers on the basis of them being IDA 3C. However from photographs just sent to me one carb has the refernce no 40 IDTP 3C1 with the number 3847 below it, whilst the other carb has the reference no 40 IDTP 3C with the number 3727 below it. Can anyone confirm what I have bought! Thanks |

I believe that you bought a set of "T" carbs based on the IDT versus the S version which was IDS. I believe that the 1 after the 3C refers to either the left or right carb.

IDT VS IDA: Idle Mixture screws have a different tappered end.
IDS VS IDA: High enrichement jet added in the circuit. Carb bodies are the same between IDT IDA and IDS. HTH Marc-André
