SC Targa rear window trim
Hi,
I am concerned with the trim on my 79 rear window, it looks like the rubber (around the base) has some holes in it, and where the metal meets the targa bar looks like it's missing a piece. Could someone take pictures of theirs around the targa bar base, as well as let me know where I can get new trim (metal around base, and rubber) and how much work is it to replace. Thanks in advance,

If you are talking about the decorative metal piece under the window rubber...well, at least in my case i can only remove it when i have removed the window. It is attached to the frame with screws that are under the rubber gasket.
Although, i have rust under the decorative part and i want to get rid of all rust on my car...well, at least try ![]()

How much work to replace? It is one of the most difficult things to do properly.
Ask me how I know....

Thanks guys, I'll have to take a picture to fully explain. My conerns are two; I think I'm missing a piece of trim, and I am concerned about water getting into the frame under the rear glass.
