3.3 Muffler Bearing

That is the compressor bypass vavle. It diverts the turbos compressed air when the motor sees high vacume. ie between shifts and at idle

It's recirculating "blow off valve"...the thing that goes "pshhhh" in ricer movies but plumbed to channel air back in. Those seals usually dry out and need replacing...other than that, it's bulletproof.

I had the seals disintegrate (7) which caused the piston (3) to stick in the housing. This resulted in no boost.

I upgraded to the ceramic muffler bearings, and it has made all the difference.

It's ok to go ceramic if it is the vapor blasted carbon impregnated verity.
