fiberglass parts

I'm considering ths valance from Rennspeed. Has anyone had any experience with them and how do their parts fit? I did a search but only came up with them supplying smaller parts. Will this be a bear to install?

Many thanks,

Not all the time. My RS rear bumper is not.

That's a 934 Style bumper. Just in case you didn't know, for the 934 Porsche couldn't go crazy and make the rear decklid of the 911 big enough to handle the necessary air-air intercoolers for a racing turbo motor fit, so they went to an air-water intercooler setup, so you have a center inlet for oil cooler, two inlets for brake cooling and two outer inlets for the intercooler radiators.

Here's more good info

Rennspeed has a great reputation, and -- by far, from what I've seen -- the lowest fiberglass prices out there.

The one exception was the RS rear bumper, which had problems. I'm not certain of it, but I believe they've made a new mold and are producing a different version, now.

KevinP73 was the maestro who did all of the fitting, customizing and painting on my car. He was very impressed by the quality of the Rennspeed pieces.

Thanks for the info Jack, how was the fit when it came from renspeed? I am thinking about front/rear bumpers, but I am debating whether it is worth the hassle? I just don't want to be stuck with a lot of extra time put into fitting the parts. Thanks.

Hey Jerry,

Does Rennspeed make a 934 bumper for narrow bodies?

rsr808,

I don't know about narrow bodies. I am going to turbo-look on mine and have always liked the 934 style. The only other supplier I found had a 934 valance that would have to be cut down to fit a wide body (actual replica). I think the rennspeed version will fit standard widebody. I am still waiting to hear back from Peter.
