In the UK, the economics are pretty clear - the conversion costs around £2000-2500 depending on what you pay for the roof itself, and you'll add about £4-5000 to the value of the car.
I was fully intending to do the conversion on mine once my finances had recovered from the initial purchase and remedial work, but the first time I drove her changed my mind. She feels exactly like a cab when driving her, but is less vulnerable to break-in. I also really fell in love with the Targa look. Mine will look something like a coupe when finished as I've bought the JMPRO fibreglass roof and am having it sprayed to match the car. Ben
