brake proportion valve
In a couple of threads I see references to the p/v. Where is this located?
I did the VCI upgrade a few years back (930 calipers f&r, 23 m/c, etc.)and nothing was mentioned about changing the p/v. Under very hard braking (at the track) my fronts will start to lock up. I thought of installing a proprotion valve. '73 Targa w/3.2 & many suspension upgrades. track/street car '73S coupe '68 v.w. crewcab w/2.4 & 5 sp. |

Just remove the valve and go with a direct line to the back brakes by either running a short piece or the whole line itself. I had a similar problem with mine until I removed it. The funny thing is that now my car stops better, but I have to be carful about front wheel lockup even more since the rears are biting better.

Gumba,
I just did this two weeks ago, so I can show you how I replaced mine the next time we're in the same place ![]() I just fashioned a brake line that goes from the MC to the coupler on the far side of the stock P/V. It was pretty simple. Dean
