Question 3.6 conversion electrical question

I am in the process (slow and painful so far) of putting a 993 into my SC. I have a ' 95 993 motor with a euro harness. As I looked at the harness I found five black wires coming out near the 55 pin DME plug. It looked as though someone may have hacked into the harness as these black wires are not connected to anything. I traced them ino the harness and found that two of them go to pin numbers 4 and 11 on the large connector (next to the DME 55 pin connector). I have one of the black wires connecting to a yellow/green wire which goes to DME pin 36. According to my pinout sheet which identifies the pins and where they go, it looks like it goes to "ground, DME relay 85"

The next black wire connects to a black/white wire which connects to DME pin 3 - according to the pinout sheet this would be for "ground, DME relay" and the last black wire goes to a black/maroon wire which goes to DME pin 45 which is listed as "Engine NTC II"

I have a Timmons conversion harness and the only wire that corresponds to it out of these black wires is the one that goes to pin 4 on the large 14 pin connector - it corresponds to pin 3 on the conversion harness which is the red wire that goes to + on the battery. So, what do I do with these wires?

Also, does anyone know where the red wires on the Timmons conversion harness goes. It connects from the battery to the 14 pin connecter and where does it go from there?

Try Embs or Ischmitz via PM. They are intimate with electrons.

Did you buy this harness off of Steve Timmins? If so I would imagine that it came with comprehensive instructions and free technical support. If not, email me at the address below and send me some pictures of what your talking about. I am working on a 993 transplant right now (that I took for it's first REAL test drive today). I'll track down the wires in question tommorow and email you back.
