Ahh, I think that you can rent a brand new Ferrari for less than that.

EDIT: OK, I take it back. I just checked the site and they are more than $1k @ day. But you can rent a new Maseratti spyder for $900 @ day. 996tt coupe is the same. It is interesting that the rental rates don't perfectly correspond to the price of the car, there are other considerations factored in, I guess.

Desireability has a large factor no doubt! What the market will bear seems to rule the exchange, right?

lateapex911 01-06-2004 11:12 PM

Well, it loos like my travel won't allow me to take you guys up on your kind offers. :( I need to be back Sunday. As a consolation I am going to try to drop into Scottsdale for the Barret Jackson auction on Fri and Sat night. Not too many cars on the list, but some interesting ones are there.

I'll be there with BELTS on ! I figured that's where MR9146 was going with that one.

Ummm ... errrr ... uhhhh ... that's exactly what I meant. Simpson 5-points ... that's the ticket.

dd74 01-07-2004 07:28 AM

Ditto -- five points. :)

KevinP73 01-07-2004 07:43 AM

Looks like I might have to sit this one out. Scrufus Domesticus dropped a cylinder new years day. Now's the perfect time to can the 110hp and drop in the 140hp. Have fun guy's.

Mr9146 01-07-2004 07:47 AM

Hey, Kevin, what about the 180hp Turbo Vair? You've gotta make an appearance ...

Jared at Pelican Parts 01-07-2004 07:55 AM

I'll be there fo shizzle

Think I'll take the BMW this time though.

Aint gonna have enough money until next month for new tires on the Porsche

KevinP73 01-07-2004 07:58 AM

The turbo is still not back together. Right now I'm driving a "soccer mom special" Dodge mini van. Maybe I could keep up in that???

What size are you looking for? I've got some tires that I'd let go if they fit for you.

Jared at Pelican Parts 01-07-2004 08:03 AM

195/50/15 or 195/60/15 I think even 205's might fit.

Thanks man!

KevinP73 01-07-2004 08:12 AM
