You drive a sausage with mustard on it? ;)

Jason

Jared at Pelican Parts 01-23-2004 02:17 PM

yes, a very large sausage is what I drive

Jason, are you still looking for a ridealong?

I can accommodate you if you like...

Excellent...
I may try to grab a 911 passenger seat, but I won't turn down a ride in your car.
Let's wind it out.

See you tomorrow. Morning beverage of choice on me.

Jared at Pelican Parts 01-23-2004 02:24 PM

Ah free Everclear in the morning

see you then...

nostatic 01-23-2004 02:37 PM

remind me to drive a couple of carlengths behind you...911 is on speeddial

KevinP73 01-23-2004 04:39 PM

My headers just arrived today so there is no way I can have them on and ready to run by morning. I'll be there just to see you all your way then it's off to work for me. I'm trying to get Rob's 69 ready in time for Dunkles at the end of the month. No small feat but after BB2 I think I can make it.

techweenie 01-23-2004 05:05 PM

That's a pretty ambitious goal, Kevin, cconsidering how Rob's 'vision' is evolving daily...

;-)

dd74 01-23-2004 06:55 PM

We should keep an eye on the developing rain situation...

http://www.weather.com/weather/local/91607?lswe=91607&lwsa=WeatherLocalUndeclared

Or a question might be, who wants to do this run in the rain?

speeder 01-23-2004 07:41 PM

9AM @ Gelson's??

campbellcj 01-23-2004 09:25 PM

What is Rob doing to his car now? I thought it was just about perfect last time I saw it; assuming we are talking about the same Rob?

Anyways...I'm in for tomorrow (woohoo). My car is currently topless so hopefully it won't be too cold or raining !?!?!?!

Tyson Schmidt 01-23-2004 09:44 PM

Well, Rob saw a vision, and is putting that vision into a rolling metal work of art.

We put a hole in the hood and a big gas cap, and recontoured the rear flares to his artistic taste.

And now Kevin gets to prep and repaint a car that he already did an amazing job on, all over again. But hey, the finished product should be pretty breathtaking. That center fill gas tank is damn sexy.

sammyg2 01-23-2004 09:52 PM

David, hope you have fun. I'm working so I won't be able to meet up. Good luck and be safe, don't try to keep up with the crazies ;)

Jack Olsen 01-23-2004 11:04 PM

Yes. 9 am. Gelson's.

But if it's raining, it's off -- as far as I'm concerned. Just doesn't make sense.

dd74 01-23-2004 11:32 PM

Ditto what Jack said.

scottb 01-23-2004 11:48 PM

Just checked aviation weather, and it's calling for light mist in the morning. Not a good thing for twisties.

I'm gonna pass, I think. If you guys do end up going, be very careful.

Jack Olsen 01-24-2004 07:05 AM

As of 8 am, it's dry.

Unless that changes soon, I'm going to head out and see you guys at Gelson's.

KevinP73 01-24-2004 07:18 AM

I'm there also, see you all soon
