Short shift kit help needed....

My 1987 930 has the 4 speed shifter and I would like to improve the shifting in the car. My issues are a loseness with the shifter while it is in gear. The length of the throw from 1st to 2nd and 3rd to 4th. Lastly, there doesn't seem to be an exact spot that the shifter wants to go when shifting. It just sort of wanders into gear. I have looked here with Pelican and elsewhere to find a short shift kit that is designed for my car but all I have found are kits that specify only through the 1986 year model. I have found the bushing kits but feel I should do the shift kit as well.

Any suggestions on where I should look, what I should buy and/or what adjustments might be appropriate.
