I made my set out of Aluminum. I just machined the U shaped channel and matching section with .005" clearance. They are nice and tight. The other thing was that the distance between the two sections was set at the panel gap. Made alignment easy. Parts are held together with clevis pins or circlips(I have both). Makes decklid removal a snap. This was to allow easy changes once I get a track tail sourced up. Yep, ducktail, you guessed it. Flip over lid makes engine work a snap. No more bumpnig your head.

I was going to use Aluminum but had a scrap sheet of Ti laying around. Those look good.
Eric the only reason I showed any fear at all is I realized you drove an SC and I think you could make it here in record time. And Besides you are INSANE!

I think we're gonna find Shawn in a spider hole ... a briefcase full of Ti RSR hinges and scrap.

I am only making one more set for now. I have run out of material and they are spoken for. Sorry guys. May make more in the future at a very competetive price. Stay tuned...

Ok, did you mean Ronin? Or Onan -- as in onanism?
