I made my set out of Aluminum. I just machined the U shaped channel and matching section with .005" clearance. They are nice and tight. The other thing was that the distance between the two sections was set at the panel gap. Made alignment easy. Parts are held together with clevis pins or circlips(I have both). Makes decklid removal a snap. This was to allow easy changes once I get a track tail sourced up. Yep, ducktail, you guessed it. Flip over lid makes engine work a snap. No more bumpnig your head.

I was going to use Aluminum but had a scrap sheet of Ti laying around. Those look good.
Eric the only reason I showed any fear at all is I realized you drove an SC and I think you could make it here in record time. And Besides you are INSANE!

I fall under the "RONAN" catagory.. leaderless. a manonmy own.. I'd never bring harm to any other, unless they took aggresive act towards me. hahah thats why I like the GruppeB they are do what ya like kinda of guys. No RULES>> nothing.. just fast cars!!!.

Well I got all the peices bent. Now I just need to get these to the welder. Probably be sometime after the new year. I will post pics when I get a set done.

Well, I am staring at a set of welded up Titanium 911R decklid hinges. I will snap some pics tonight. Oh happy day! i love it when a plan comes together...
