Quicker Steering Ratio
I'm interested in quickening up my steering ratio. Jack O earlier pointed out the Lindsey Racing rack that reduces the lock-to-lock from 3.0 to 2.3.
Question - has anyone tried this Lindsey rack? Is it too quick for the street? Does it make parking excessively hard? Any other reactions? Another question - are there any other options for faster steering ratio on a Carrera? I've found vague hints about some sort of RSR rack and about using 930 racks but so far no real information.

Just MYHOP..If you do not seriously track your car like Jack does....Spend your money on other up-grades...For day to day...I think the satndard steering is more than tight enough

I have the standard steering rack, not the Kokeln model that Lindsey sells.
If I were an autocrosser my opinions might change, but for now I use the 'poor man's fast-ratio rack,' which is a smaller-diameter steering wheel.

I believe the 930 rack is about 3 turns lock to lock. It should fit right in.
