There is a yellow new Beetle around here that has a GT2-tail

Looks cool, in a I-don't-take-myself-too-seriousely way.

I think it's kind of funny.

I drove my Mom's new car when I was just home for Thanksgiving, ('03 N.B.), you've got to be real secure w/ your masculinity to drive one of those. It's like walking around w/ a flower in your ass.

There was one a couple years back in European Car magazine, with a twin turbo VR6 in it, Big Reds, and 18" turbo twist wheels. I bet in ate clutches and gear boxes.

My friend's NEU BUG, with my 18" turbo twists on it. It fits so well, it might as well have come from the factory. Screw what everyone else thinks...chicks dig it. When I'm riding in the car with him I always see girls look. His is a turbo'd 2.0.

The one in european car was from HPA Motorsports...damn crazy Canadians...

hmm

maybe, just maybe , he's planning to drop a 3.6 engine in it...
they did it all the time on old bugs , so maybe the new bug has room for a flat 6 as well (might need some nifty welding though)

This might sting a little...

It appears to me that ya'll have forgotten your roots ... VW is part of our lineage whether we readily admit to it or not (let the flames begin )

Try not to take yourselves so seriously during the holidays - obviously the owner of this car doesn't.

Personally, I like it ... it's the same color scheme as my 914
