Fuse question- early car

I'm in the process of "cleaning up" the wiring on my '70T. The original fuse blocks are in fair condition( no covers, one broken spring contact) but could stand replacement. My question is: are the fuse blocks the same on the early cars? I have a 10 fuse panel on top and a 8 fuse panel on the bottom. The wiring seems to be in line with what is shown on the wiring diagram on Pelicanparts.

I'm not sure when they changed, but I had the same setup in my 72T. I'm in the process of converting the fuse blocks to ATO style fuses.

I don't think they are.
Both of mine were broken(stuff flying around in the trunk) when I bought the car, and the replacement from a 69(?) that had the same number of fuses but the busses on the back were very different.

Power windows were a factory option after 1970 as well as sunroof, and I'm not sure when the A.C. clutch circuit began(1973?).

The '69-'70 911s have the same fuse box/wiring configuration. Not sure about '71. Here's the wiring diagram:

Sherwood, Thanks for the info. It sure would be a mess to put the wrong one in. I'm going to see if I can find a part # on mine today. Cheers. Ray

Fuse blocks were not the high point of early 911s. The '65-'68 were terrible, the '69-'73 almost as bad. The issue was/is the rivits that hold the spring fuse contact to the connector for the wire would corode, causing resistance, heat and loss of contact.
Look there first.

Best,
Grady

Thanks Grady. I unscrewed mine today and found the #s 21950 and 21948 on the 10 and 8 fuse panels respectively. I'm guessing this is part # or equivilent. Minimal corrosion on the back but the whole reason I'm doing this is that one of the "spring" contacts on the front of the 10 fuse panel broke and the PO had substituted a in-line type rig. ( at least it was a fuse and not a 22 caliber round). Cheers. Ray
