You don't need to practice, it isn't like there is prize money at stake. Just run a few laps, (probably not of the 'ring though) rub some fenders, and have some fun. I can switch to a NGT car easy enough.

I usually run with the same aids as you, although running the 'ring I have been setting traction control at low, and invulnerability to on.

Just getting into this whole racing sim thing but I hope to see you all online soon. I have a good "LeMans 24 hour" sim, but I'm still having trouble getting it to play with my Momo Force FEedback. If the majority here is into NFS, I'll pick that up.
I found out today that my new Grand Prix Legends (F1circa 1967) won't work with my LCD monitor so I'm off to buy a used 21" CRT. I know the "buy a new PC to run my $19.95 game" addiction.

I just picked up the game tonight. Every other time I race, it starts to skip. Anyone have any idea why? I'm running XP Pro, & have a 128bit ASUS 4600 vid card. It sucks cause I want to gear up for some online racin. Maybe I'll call my IT guy tomorrow.

I'm struggling with time differences here. The racing seems to start at 4am my time.....doh!

These times are brutal, I never know if it's "your" time or the time Pelican thinks it is.
