Jack: that's hilarious!
Matt: for sale, huh? My heart says, "Ship it over," but my mutual funds say, "Hold on there, little man!"

Matt, you have just made every other post on this BBS uninteresting to me tonight.
What a dilemma..but it seems like you've made up your mind, so congrats. When I first read the post I thought it was a no brainer: Keep the 2.7 RS, for the simple reason that it's an original, appreciating car in a great colour with a great engine. The black beast is a replica, albeit a stunning one But the more I looked at that rep and thought about it, the more I realised you should have it. It represents a massive bargain, and it really is what you want NOW! Life is, as they say, short. Do it. I doubt you will ever regret. Btw, 'seeing' that cowboy in the Iroc tail is the sort of reasoning I apply when I know I MUST have something. Goodonya!

Jack,
Now I just need a replica of Darth's meditation chamber! ![]() Adam, How about Indian every night for the rest of my life?! Matt, You're right: that RS replica represents a massive bargain -- the drivetrain is worth as much as the Carrera 2.7! And if I had the money to build my dream 911, I think it would be almost identical to this replica.

Congrats on the Black Beast. When buying such an interesting Porsche you know you have to supply your friends here with: Pictures, sound recordings, general info and if possible film clips

Now that I've seen your car, I know what kind of potential our poor twin look alike has. This will keep me motivated to get ours back on the road.

Matt,
Having a strong biased toward original cars over replicas, my first reaction was 'no way, keep the Carrera 2.7'. The photos of the 3.0 RS and the description are too compelling though. I have to side with the majority and support you in your decision to buy it and sell the Carrera 2.7. I looked at your website to see it your car was RHD and was relieved to see that it is so I won't have to think about the possibility of buying your car. You must take more photos and put them up for us to drool over.

Chris,
![]() Mikkel, fryardds, I'm thinking of filming a "Getaway in Stockholm"-esque video to celebrate the acquisition of the RS replica! ![]() There'll be tons of photos and several sound clips to upload once I get my grubby mits on this beast! Stay tuned!

HOLY COW! I just saw this thread. I'm going to have to agree brian.. while I LOVE your existing car this RSR is a monster.. GO FOR IT!. I think the only touch that could make it better would be this.
