I spend a lot of time poking around the board here and have gleaned a lot of good stuff from you all.

Sorry about that. Accidently submitted the post.
Anyhow, I pulled the pedal assembly from my 71T last night to replace the bushings and clean up some rust. Missing from the assembly was the clutch pedal return spring. Does anyone know if this is typical for my model/year to not have the return spring, or did a previous "mechanic" remove it? Clutch seemed to be working fine. I appreciate any help I can get. Thanks in advance

should be a coil type spring just inboard of where the cable attaches. helps to return the pedal to the full upright position.

Thanks John, that is what I suspected as there is some wear at the locations where the spring would attach.
