Miscellaneous Questions:

1) My nearly brand new alternator appears to have a very slight wobble visible on the fan when I give it a spin. What would cause this and how do I fix it?

2) I bought New Magnecore Plug/Coil Wires and it looks like the end of the new coil wire going into the coil is different than the old wire. It looks to me like the old wire slips into a hole but the new wire slips over a post or vice versa. Is this something I need to think about?

3) Is it standard practice to apply dielectric grease on all electrical connections, including harness plugs, senders, etc.?

4) Are the finned oil lines (from ext. t-stat to loop cooler) better than the regular, nonfinned ones?

Thanks, gentlemen. Winding down on the reinstall of my engine...

Ok, I think I can answer 3 and 4:
3 -- Yes, dielectric grease is pretty much always a good idea. Many people consider it a good idea to disconnect, clean, and apply di-grease to all of your electricals periodically.

4 -- Finned oil lines are in fact better than non-finned ones. I've read the reviews that say the extra cooling helps. Seems like some people have also complained that the little fragile fins bend pretty easily, but it's still a step up.

Good luck with the other two, and if somebody who actually _knows_ something would like to correct my answers, I'd be much obliged too. Thanks, all.

Dan
