That's awsome! I recognize some of them from previous years.

I was impressed by the presence of mind of the driver at 1:30. He was smart enough to take his hands off the wheel and grab the seat mount.

I lived in Palma, Majorca for 2 years. They hold these rallys almost every month. I have actually participated in several of the motorcycle rallys. It got to the point that being passed on the outside of the turns by a two locals on one moped didn't bother me on my VF750F. The one on back was taking video. We were doing 65 on a turn that was marked 25.

One word.

Crazy.

You'll note that most of the wrecks happen on the outside of the turns, and yet that is where everyone stands. The photographers are even more brazen. The smart ones set the camera up on a tripod, and stand way back. You'll note that a lot of the crashes happen on the same turns over and over. Most of the wrecks were when the first wreck ended up on the roadway. Just as all the spectators got to the first car to help, the next one comes plowing into the first one.

At the start of these things is a guy with a watch or a flag, but never both, and as soon as a car gets out if sight around a turn, they let the next one go. No thought to faster cars at the front, etc.

The carnage on the roadway is unreal.

Crazy. Everyone has a blast.

Once I found a high granite perch, I did too. Is one of the many things I miss about Spain.

The 911 and urq hurt to watch! The scary one was the RS flaming up right as people were getting to it.

Hey Andy, doing well. Sorry, but I have no idea how to save it. A Rudge Whitworth buddy sent me the link.

Adomakin,

Put your mouse over the link, and right click on it, then click on the "save target as" and then direct it to where ever you want it.

Wow, some of those were really spectacular, right up there with those roundy-round racers' wrecks. The one that I would have least liked to be in was a two way tie betweenthe one that burst into flames, assuming no navigator the driver may have gotten out OK, and the one that was flying through the air sideways while barrel rolling and then smacked the tree/car that stopped him really quickly. THat looked like a really hard hit.

One hell of a way to drop the engine out of a 911. Beats anybody time on this board i would think. Great Video.

More, more, more!!! I love the WRC, not only does it have NASCAR beat in driver skill and entertainment value, but the crashes are a lot cooler too! Very nice.
