Hello.
I've got the following setup/parts for my 6-cyl Porsche 2,7L '74 engine, with carburetors: - MSD Digital-6 Plus, ignition box #6520 - MSD HVC Blaster coil, #8252 - VDO Tachometer, 10 000 rpm (electronic) - Bosch distributor, with no breaker points (type 3,0L '78 magnetic trigger) My questions: - What type of tachometer adaptor, do I need ? PN8910 or PN8920 ? - Should I CUT or NOT CUT the green loop in the magnetic compensation circuit (shown in fig. 3 on pg 5 in the install. instruction) ? Best regards, Urreg |

Got this answer from MSD (Joe LaPille) and will try this ASAP.
"Sir, If the distributor is an actual magnetic pick up triggering the box is off of the magnetic pick up then you will need the 8920 adapter. You do not need to cut this if this is a factory magnetic pick up. Thanks, MSD tech" |
