Backdated Heat SCAT Source

I need 2 SCAT hoses to go from the engine shroud to the SSI's. Pelican only sources them in 12" length.

I believe I need 18". I like the Pelican ones because the ends are finished nicely, not just hacked off.

I checked out Air Spuce but there are too many part numbers on their site. Which one do I need

I have about 10 feet of the 2.5 inch neoprene (not silicone) hose that I will make you a deal on if you're interested. I think I paid $4+ per foot for a 10-11ft section and I only needed a couple of feet.

Check ebay. Last I checked there were several people selling 5 to 10 foot lengths of 2.5 inch SCAT at a fraction of the price I paid at Air Spruce.

What is the difference between the neoprene silicon. Is neoprene the orange hose?

Neoprene is the black hose. I have used both the silicone (orange) and neoprene for everything from heating hose to brake duct hose and I now use the neoprene because it's cheaper. Doesn't look at cool, but seems to work just fine.

Someone here turned my on to this place for SCAT hosing. I've used it for the past year and it is holding up fine. Much better then the aluminum foil stuff.

18" is just too much. I'd be very happy with 12".
