Question yet another ebay winner!!

What I want to know is why every car like this "ran and drove perfectly BEFORE disassembly." http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6763&item=2466907216

Clean carfax? Goes to show what they know. Come on, it's a slantnose conversion in pieces, why would you think he's lying? 10K? What a steal!

I'd give 10K just for those red wheels!

Well perhaps, not.

That's what I thought was going to happen to my car a couple times this winter. But it's all coming back together now, just a few more deliveries & a about another weeks worth of work & it should be done.

He never explains it in the ad, but it isn't a bad deal if those are real fenders. Porsche stopped making them about a year ago - new they ran for $5400 each.

Unfortunately, the car would still need several thousand in paint and body woirk to bring it back.

I don't think the first picture is the same car that is shown torn apart. I think it is what he hoped it would look like when it is complete. Not my cup of tea, a slant nose 911 has never spun my wheels. This is just one mans $.02

I agree, the slantnose looked "new and different" when they first appeared in movies and Miami Vice. I got over it quick.
Something missing on that face without the headlights!
