Backdate Part for Heater
Does anyone know the part number or where to find the part that bolts to the left side of the engine compartment that the heater hose passes through? When I backdated my heater, I removed the solid 3"x 3" piece and want to replace it with the piece that fits around the heater hose like I saw on a 72 yesterday. I would like to include it in my next order from Pelican (tomorrow) but need a part number or some way to find it. I looked on PET with no luck.

Sorry I don't know the number but John Walker got it for me for $20.00. You could e-mail him.

I'm not sure Pelican sells that engine tin part. I got mine used. If Pelican doesn't sell it, do a WTB in the parts classified.

If what you seek is item 28 in the below diagram (from the 911 '72-73 illustrated factory parts catalog) then it's part number is 901.106.825.00; Pelican sells this part for $23.50 (A-106-825-00). Cheers, Jim

Thanks Jim, it shows that it's a cover for a 83-89 Turbo on Pelican. I'll give them a call tomorrow to see if they know if it is the part I'm looking for.
