Calling Crockett & Tubbs: your Miami Vice Special is ready!

...on eBay, of course!

Looks like everybody is dredging up these old neglected modified cars & tossing 'em on eBay!

Someone spent a lot of money to do that.

I'm sure it seemed like a good idea at the time. I remember the '80s and I really liked slant nose turbos.

But even if I filter it through my '80s Ray-Bans, that car is way over the top.

They say that Michaelangelo looked at a solid block of marble and saw the figure of David.

I look at that and I see: "a stock tub that includes the original floor pan, rocker panel longitudinal frame members, front firewall, and front shock towers."

Classic.

I can almost hear the telltale Jan Hammer music in the background. Also looks like something that "Vanilla Ice" would drive (if you don't know who that is then you're in good shape).

Looks like it has Euro Mercedes Headlights in the bumper....never saw that before. I'm guessing it's has knockoff Gemballa parts.

Now WHY would somebody put a beauty like that into storage? Waiting for the 80's to come back into vogue?
