I noticed a huge difference in handling. I went with the Elephant Racing polybronze bushings front and rear. Things are dramatically better. I also went up in torsion bar size and got new Konis. All together, major handler now.

Yes!

Replacing my 25 year old suspension bushings was a night and day difference on my car. You'll feel the difference.

What type of bushings are you going with?

I really don't know. I will hopefully do this sometime this summer. Any suggestions?

I was thinking Neatrix (sp).....

I went with Neatrix. I'm very happy but in hindsight if I were to do it again I would have spent the extra $$$ and went with Elephant racing's polybronze bushings like JTO. I have heard nothing but great things about them.

Do you track your car? AX or DE?

I AutoX it now... possible DE once a year. I know my suspension is 24 yrs old and I am looking at replacing things slowly. My first thought was bushings for now.

Thanks!

I went with new rubber bushings all the way around. All are new except the inner banana arm bushes- couldn't get to those with motor in car.

Big difference. Along with the new bushings, I put on new shocks, t-bars, ball joints, front wheel bearings, and tie rods. Also relubed the steering rack. Car is razor sharp compared to before.

New bushings is a worthwhile job. No doubt about it. Just watch out for the "while you're in there" bug. Easy to get carried away!
