Brake question - will '74 rotors and calipers work on '85 struts?
I realize the spacing is different for both year struts. But does that prohibit use of 1974-era rotors and calipers on '85 struts?

The rotors can be used, the calipers only if they have have 3.5" ears.

Thanks Bill. I almost called out for you personally on this thread since you seem most knowledgeable about brakes.
Would you know the weight difference, by chance, between SC brake calipers (A calipers, I believe) and those that came on my '74? I think they're M calipers. Thanks. ![]()
