shift linkage adjustment confusion...
ok guys, which is it...
This one? http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/911_shifting_improvements/911_shifting_improvements.htm Or Wayne's adjustment???? I did it the way Wayne recommends... seems simple enough. And works fine. Is there a "right" way?

don't recall offhand what wayne's specific method is, but i've generally always followed the method in the link you provide of bob tindel's recommendation. i'll go out on a little limb here and suggest it isn't exactly the same for every 915 out there...i've adjusted a number of them and my rule is i don't put the plate cover back on until i'm satisfied. i'll leave it off for a little while and make fine adjustments with short test drives until it's perfect.
