tonight, my car started to make a squeeky sound....kind of like an old rusty gate swinging in the wind.... every time I came to a stop or went over a bump at slow MPH.
It seems that every time the front end "recoils"... it gives off a squeek. I parked the car and pushed down on the front end, and it is quite loud....coming from the passenger side shock area. I put new Bilstein inserts in there approximately 13,000 miles ago...and have not had any problems or noises. Why the sudden rusty gate? Im going to pull the wheel off this weekend and take a look. I would venture to guess it's your A-arm bushings.

It's a common deal. The torsion bar is rubbing against something like the adjuster - can't remember exactly. John Walker fixed the same squeak in mine with a quick spot weld.

True story: my rusty gate drove me insane for over a year. Same symptoms as yours. The solution: a dab of grease on the metal tab that the hood light plastic plunger contacts when the hood is closed.
Hey, it worked for me!
