Will 964 fender oil cooler fit 911 fender?

Hey guys I'm looking to add another fan/oil cooler on my 911 in the left fender and wondered whether the 964 oil cooler would fit? I've seen pics which show the oil line fittings are placed alittle bit differently, but any one have dimensions compared to the 911 one? I'm sure I could find one of these coolers much cheaper than the 911 one. Thanks!

Left Front Fender? Being a turbo, maybe. There is less room in the left fender area than the right b/c of the battery, and the Carrera cooler just barely fits. You could install it at an angle, but then you don't have as efficient airflow through it and a straight Carrera cooler would be better.

I have a Carrera cooler in both front fenders.

Nice Ryan, I somehow missed your thread from last year. I probably had some other upgrade plans consuming my thoughts That is very clean and I'm thinking perhaps I'll just buy my stuff from elephant and be done with it. Nice fab work. That is exactly how I want mine to look.

One final question, is a fan overkill on the left side, or is there just not enough room on the left side for one? I noticed Ryan's doesn't have a fan, how about you Jack?

I have a fan on the passenger side cooler, but nothing on the driver's side cooler. This is arbitrary, since I removed both battery boxes.

The key for me was to build ducting to force air into the cooler, without any allowed to spill underneath or around the sides.
