Check out these pics of a 993 turbo - engine out at a P-car dealer here in Atlanta.
Amazing how much toe movement the rear wheels have in full droop! Amazing how similar the engine compartment looks to my 73! ![]() ![]() ![]()

That toe is what keeps 993 owners from going backwards into the bushes. Seriously! It reminds me of beginner skiers.

well, the 993 rear suspension does have kinematic toe-in....but not that much. LOL
To facilitate engine removal, the rear lower control arms must each be removed at one end. Obviously, they rolled this car around after the engine drop with the control arms still unattached. max
