Maybe it's the photo/angle, but that car looks like it was punched hard in the rear and not straightened out completely. IOW, the rear wheel opening shape doesn't look right, and the rear bumper upper seam looks like it slopes down at the rear.

Even if the body issue is an optical illusion, 190K miles with no overhaul is a guaranteed rebuild in the near future. Deals like that are not uncommon.

May I suggest you stop looking at cars at the bottom of their price range? Believe me, a well cared-for or rebuilt car is worth a premium.

I have an '86 with 175K. If I were in the market for a 911, knowing what I know about my car, I would definitely buy it.

That said, and if a PPI checks out ok, I think the "OBO" should be around $10,500 - $11,000 or so given the mileage.

OTOH, I might be a little biased.

Be prepared to drop $5-8K into it sooner rather than later.

Of course you can say that about almost any 911...but at 190K if the engine hasn't been rebuilt, I'd be expecting major work. Also, when were other things replaced (shocks, brakes, alternator, etc)? If it has been a long time, you'll be looking at that too...
