Well, got it open....was able to get a 10mm wrench inside thru the gap and loosen the spring latch.....
Now to figure out how to adjust it and do it again w/o screwing it up..... ![]()

Mike,
When you close it look at it from the side and make sure the pin is going into the hole parallel. I had to use a small spacer on the back side of the latch to get the pin going at the right angle on my duck. Also, make sure that thing is dead on center front to back and you should be in good shape... In terms of the hinge shock... That lid stayed up fine with a turbo deck lid shock, even with the AC condensor installed. It worked really well with the the condensor removed. I'm sure the tail is lighter than a stock metal lid with a turbo tail... G-

No, someone else was doing that, and the owner of the rights got in a tiz about it. I don't know if it is still in the works or not...
