I have Orange Carrera door scripts and a GruppeB duck tail script to put on. I am waiting till the end of May for the decals. The paint still doesn't seem to be fully cured.

Maybe I will get "PA PA" on my plates?

That is very nice. I like the color
With the 3.2 are you using the standard Carrera front oil cooler & lines or somthing a little more special. Sorry I am obsessed with cooling at the moment.

Mocal coolers seem to be the way to go, at least from what I have researched. The SS braided lines, are you running them all the way from the back?
btw. cool progress report. Can we see the secret wheels yet?

Very nice! Are you happy that you didn't go with the flat black paint? I sure am.

Thanks guys. I cant wait to drive it! I lost around 200 pounds over the winter.(the car, not me) Alot of guys on here dont like the Mocal setup. It does the job. If i ever have some cash i dont know what to do with I will get some finned lines from Chuck. i have Orange Carrera door scripts and a GruppeB duck script on the way. I am waiting till late in May to make sure the paint is completely cured since it has been chiily here.
I have secured a set of lug nuts for the SECRET wheels. So I will get pics up when i get them finished.(they are the wrong color)

As far as the flat black...we painted my friends 928 flat black last weekend and I must say that thing just looks pure evil! You can check it out over here: http://www.gruppeb.org/forum2/viewtopic.php?t=533

oh BTW does anyone have an animated Papa Smurf avatar?(or know where one can be found?)

Ok, the rear of the 928 looks bad arss in the first pic!

Anyway, your car looks great. My two favorite paint schemes; Martini Racing and Gulf Racing. Hmm, I think I'll do one of each whe I hit the lotto. LOL

The duck looks like a great fit.

SECRET wheels!!!

The day we have all been waiting for!(humor me)
Here they are the SECRET wheels! They are 16X8 and 9's. Two piece wheels. Any ideas on the make? They seem pretty light and have only the width stamped in the back.

Oh and anyone care to hazard a guess as to what kind of metal i fabbed my headlight brackets out of?

Secret wheels look cool. Can't think of the manufacturer right now. I recall seeing something similar in early 90's TireRack ads.

Funny thing about those directional wheels. They look right on one side of the car (the driver's side as you pictured) and on the other side, they look like they're running in the wrong direction. See the picture of my Laser with Eagle Talon wheels in my signature. Same thing. Still, those wheels look really good on the Smurfmobile. Quite a transformation.

I'm really interested in seeing the orange scripts. You get the best of both worlds.

I have no idea who made the wheels. They are void of any markings except for the width stamped on the backs. If it helps any they have smooth wheel centers that cover the lug nuts and are held in place with five small allen bolts.

Oh and Smitty, You win. TITANIUM!
