Best type of headers and muffler ??
Can anyone recomend which headers and muffler would best suit a 3.0L SC. (would pref 2 out). Engine is standard except for tripple 40 Webers.
I don't want to fit heat exchangers with the setup. Also would 'S' cams work ok with this set up? Any advice greatly appreciated Cheers

I had a set of "George's headers" (otherwise known as "European Racing" headers, I believe) and was happy with them.
As for mufflers, alot of it depends on how loud you want to be. I had Supertrapps on my headers and loved them. One advantage to the Supertrapps is their light weight. They allow you to remove alot of weight from the rear end of the car (great place to remove it). That's my only experience.... Mike

I will need to keep the db to about 98. The car is for track use and the db levels over here range between 98 - 106

You might look at SSI's with the Bursch muffler.

Steer clear of Billy Bull****(B&B). They have a 100% failure rate for the mufflers and the primaries are too big for your car. you should get 1.5" primaries to retain your midrange with a Burns collector.
Cheers, James

Although my answer will not help you with your selection of headers and muffler, I will certainly second the motion about steering clear from the B&B systems. I have receipts where the previous owner of my car paid $2,500 for a B&B system which I found to be obnoxiously loud, had terrible resonating problems, and the muffler developed cracks in the welds - I have since replaced this system with the factory components.
