This might sound a little odd, but I disconnecterd my 911 battery and installed a new fuse box in the engine compartment. When I was finished I reconnected the batter and I heard the pump staret up without turning the key. I started the car and when I did, I could not shut it off. I had to stall it out to stop it. Has this happened to anyone before?

No it has not happened yet. Not sure the exact issue but if you tell us the year of the car and the basic set up I am sure someone can help you out.

What year car, John?
It is likely that you turned the new fuse box over and wired the fuses wrong ... two get switched battery, and the other gets the hot lead from alternator and starter ...

Problem solved, thanks...the replacement part was the mirror image of the original...I have a Carerra 3.0 engine and buying parts is sometimes a challenge
