Awesome

Did you post the details on the wheels? Cost, manufacture etc. Sounds unique.

Funny you should ask EW ;) Mark Wilson (of red duck fame) and I have gone into the wheel business.

I'll need to clear it with Wayne before we go into more detail.

Very nice!!!!Of course I liked it before. Congrats on a great project/car. I look forward to hearing more about it as well as your new wheels.

There is something pretty cool about thinkin' outta the box - and you sure did it with this motor. A CIS 3.4.....way to go!

Let's give a guess as to hp on the Dnojet 248C that my car and Dane's car has and will run on - the exact same machine.

My guess? 220 at the wheels.

Hey Craig, remember I was 183hp at the wheels before with the original, 25 year old 3.0 and a 8.3:1 compression ratio :)

I am looking for 225 single plugged. But the shadow of this is looming over me until I have the miles and dyno time.

When is your 3.6 monster going to be finished? You coming to the swap meet for breakfast in the morning.

I was at Gerber/Goodman doing a bike deal for one of the employees and I saw a technician degreeing your cams. A few days later, I was back actually dropping off the bike and your car was being washed and driving around. Sounds impressive. I can remember degreeing my cams around 11/2002 and driving my car for the first time later in the month of November only problem it was 2003 instead of 2002.

Glad to hear you'll be making use if the extra 6 spark plugs sometime soon.

Rich, it is a 2/2 Dansk. I suspect they look the same just different bumpers.

Snow in England? Tell me it aint so?

Sweeeeeeeeet!!!!!! I really like the engine detail, too! Looks like you did a really nice job. Very clean.

rdane 05-27-2004 08:43 PM

Thanks John...you are soooo lucky I don't repeat post the rest of the pictures ;) I am worse than a proud pappa with this car.

JRISER 05-27-2004 10:33 PM

sorry, i got tied up last night ;)

no, yours definitely look smaller to me - if you get a chance could you measure the diameters for me? appreciated.

no snow at the mo (!) - that was taken some time ago.

rdane 05-30-2004 04:14 PM

Dickster, the outside dia. is 69.34mm or for here in the USA 2.73"

dickster 05-31-2004 05:10 AM

thanks for that - i thought as much, mine measure 82mm outside diam. that 13mm makes a lot of diff.

cheers.
