Storing MFI Pump..suggestions?

Looks like I will be hanging on to a 2.4 T motor indefinately. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with it, but now I know it will sit for a long time. It doesn't run. Was there something to fill the MFI pump with for preservation "on the shelf?" The cyls already have the Marvel Oil. It was sprayed in and distributed well with a blast of air out of a wand inserted thru the SP hole. TIA.

Fill with clean motor oil, plug the injector line outlets and store in a plastic bag.

I can store them for ya!! Are you keeping the MFI pump and throttle bodies?? Im looking for a set actually.

I think Kurt has the best way to go though. Just make sure there is no water moisture in the bag when you seal it and you should be fine.

Why not just drop it in a gallon can, fill with oil? Oil doesn't have to be synthetic...

Try this 2c. I’ll be glad to offer 3c.

Thanks, Grady. I don't have the luxury of running the engine to go thru all the steps, but I will hand turn the pump. I'll try to get it to induce some MMO laden gas or mineral spirits as well for protection on the top side.

It tells me, 'coming "soon" ' Same as I got before asking. But, if it is pretty much the same as what's here, I'm good.
