There's a cheapo seal that goes around Carrera tails between the tail and the decklid. I believe I used that.

The rubber is called, 930 rubber welting. I don't remember the part # but it can be purchased in 15" rolls from any Porsche dealer for about $50 or $60. I used the standard fender seal in back, I also removed the wide rubber seal beneath the rear reflector, & replaced it with the 930 welting. I believe Bill said that he found the tag lights at a junk yard, & they came off a Toyota pick up. You can also use a tag light called Lighting bolt, that holds the plate to the bumper

The bumper welting is Porsche part # 999 911 205 40 and is '76-80 930 bumper welting. It comes in 5m rolls, 1 will do both ends of the car.
Many people use BMW2002 lights(some paint them black), I didn't like the large exposed srew head so went to a salvage yard and walked around, mant '80s econo cars used that type of plate lights. I can't remember which ones i eventually used.

Those license lights are extremely common - just go to a pull -it-yourself junkyard, go to the Japanese section and you'll see thousands of them. I have a pair with the full harness I pulled off a Corolla, cost me $5.00.
Thanks for the welting p/n, Bill!
