Interior decoding help!
I'm trying to determine the name of my carpet color in my 89 Carrea Silver Anniversary car. It appears that the interior code number is 97. I have searched here and on-line for a carpet decoder with no luck. Anyone out there with the same car or who has a decoder? The color is a little darker than Linen, and sort of a beige/gray.
I have found numerous sites for the options codes, but none for carpet. Any help would be greatly apprciated. |

According to the book I have by Peter Morgan, the anniversary Carreras were '88 model year cars, and they only came in one color scheme - Marine Blue exterior with blue leather seats and "special silver blue silk velour carpet" (code TLV 6HM).

Dave,
Thanks for the help. Actually in 1989, Porsche delivered about 400 Silver Anniversary cars. Mostly coupes with silver paint, full leather, color matched wheels and a comemorative dash placque. I was able to speak to a gal with Porsche customer service and we determined that the name of the color is silk/gray for the carpet. Thanks again. |
