Engine/Trans drop angle question...

I've been reading through some of the archives but I'm not clear on how the engine/transmission is dropped. With the car raised only at the rear, isn't the eng/tran also tilted? So how is the eng/tran lowered when it is at this angle? And how is it later re-installed with the car again tilted? Thanks, just trying to get a better understanding. No engine drop planned soon.

It is, but keep in mind you put the jack at the balance point of the engine/tranny and when you lower them they level out. When you reinstall, the tranny mount will mate up first. Loosely install the bolts then keep jacking until the engine mount mates up.
