You are just dying to modify that car. Leave the outside alone, its beautiful. Do suspension and engine upgrades.

better yet:
Step 1: do a search for "roach"
Step 2: soak in the look
Step 3: copy suspension mods
Step 4: go enjoy

I know - I get bored with cars (orignal look) fast.

Bad habit. Thank you for the image though!

Please consider selling to me before you make that modification if you are truly bored with it. It looks perfect as it is.

wow - thank you all for the great compliments, every now and then when I ask about changing something on my car, people suggest to leave it alone. That is so hard for me to do! I know some of you suggest engine and suspension mods first, but to be honest, I am a little fearfull of doing anything that s not reversable.

So far I have done:
K&N filter (I know I know, but it was the first thing I could buy for it and install at 7pm on a friday after bringing her home)
Removed 90% of a diteriorated sound pad
New Front (cross drilled) rotors and pads
New custom made magnaflow exhaust (single in and out)
Urhum! (efficiently modified Cat)
New rear pads and resurfaced rotors
Replaced PO prestige amplifier with an MTX (much better)
Super white bulbs for the headlights (yes white, not that ugly blue)

Today - New Mahle fuel filter (PO had not had it changed since 92!)
Valve's adjusted
New NGK plugs
Oil&Mahle filter.

So now I am itching to do something else.............maybe it's anxiety from knowing that she wont be driven this weekend!

Bigrubber............leave that car alone! It's beautiful as is!

Disclaimer: I too have a M491 coupe and really think you should leave it as is. Of course this is just my opinion and it really dosen't matter.

NY - The opinions of other Porsche owners does matter to me because I concider most of us "enthusiast" who "know" cars. Especially coming from another M491 owner. I just figured trying on some Carrera Decals and some red paint on the wheels couldnt hurt. Not to mention easily reversable. I guess the money would be better spent on some more track time.

(and new wheels with slicks)
(racing seat)
