Woo hoo! Can't wait to see it. You should come to the autocross at Candlestick saturday for your first drive! Start learning the right way!

I'm planning on going to the swap sunday too. Maybe I should wash my car. Hmmm...

bigrubberjeep 06-03-2004 09:42 PM

Carreras look so sweet in white.

Westy 06-04-2004 05:21 AM

Hey Cliff, I think I see a spot of dust on the left fender, just to the right of the filler cap. You wanna take care of that before you post any more of those filthy photos? Hmmmm???

Congrats, Bro. See ya Sunday

Schrup 06-04-2004 05:29 AM

Congrats Cliff, nice car. I almost got a white 79 SC, but the guy wouldn't budge on his price. How much did you get it for?

maxnine11 06-04-2004 05:41 AM

Looks very nice!! There's nothing like a White SC !!

Any Sweet Carrera is properly badged with the SC acronym !! ;)

Terrific, Cliff. Congrats. Looks like you got the perfect car. I wanted white when I shopped for my SC. White/Black, that's perfect. And by getting something that's had all the upgrades, recent suspension refresh, LSD, etc., you've saved a lot of money. Happy Motoring!

You must check out www.colorplus.com
Its a company that sells a restoring kit for leather.
I just did my seats, shifter, and steering wheel.
They are new. Not like new.....not close to new....NEW!!!
Really unbelievable!!!!
My 87 has only 46k and only small issues prior. On your seats you will kaka yourself.

}{arlequin 06-04-2004 06:01 AM

very nice find. Congratulations.

I've got a dash mat (either black or dark navy) which I will be selling cheap (like $15) at the Parts Heaven swap meet this Sunday.

It would look great in that wonderful new car!

Tom

P.S.: Hope you are getting up to speed on towing so your brother can get his new car home safely. The story of a first trailering from Calif. to Texas should show up soon as a short Pelican article?

Jadams1 06-04-2004 06:48 AM

Looks great! Congratulations.

Westy 06-04-2004 06:50 AM

Short Hijack (Sorry Cliff, I'll buy ya a beer) It's driving me nuts. What's an SCWDP Sticker. Obviously I have to get one (I think).

Doug Zielke 06-04-2004 06:58 AM

Good find, Cliff!
The SCWDP welcomes you.

Now, you need to break that baby in with a nice road trip....
How about a trip North for this years SCWDP Rainforest Round-Up?

Awwwwwe, that is just waaay toooo kooool. Why would anyone buy a Carrera when they could have an SC with one of these on it?

kjb 06-04-2004 07:48 AM

RickM 06-04-2004 07:53 AM

Nice ride there, Cliff.

What fun stuff are you planning to do to it?

MichiganMat 06-04-2004 07:59 AM

traitor...TRAITOR!!! GruppeB will have your head for this, and I may be the one to do it! My steeds fiberglass armor is almost complete, you'll be no match for its agility and stunning good looks. I await the day unfixed, I await the day....

p.s. Nice find, she looks great ;)

vash 06-04-2004 08:52 AM

thanks everyone. my first things to do are to get a numeric oil temp gauge, pedal cluster rebuild....and that is just about it. in the near future, maybe polish the pedals on the wheels, and a duck (ala mark wilson, but white) oh and to see what summer temps in the east bay are going to do, if bad, the carrera cooler upgrade...again.

thanks for the dash cover idea, and the leather treatments.
