|
Congrats. Bring it next time to Mines?
|
you need to change your sig. I'll see if I have a SCWDP sticker around. Can I get a muhahahahah?
|
Good looking car. How about some details.
|
muhahahahah!!! it is an 1981. 74 thousand miles. all the upgrades done.
i couldnt resist. all stock except the suspension is gone thru. bought it off my anal friend that fixed everything. even the door hardware is new. only thing i am not crazy about is the leather dash. it looks good now, but i bet it can get ugly. and the jury is still out on the msd stuff. i dont think anything was wrong with his Cd box. handles great. i cannot wait until the next mines runs. oh he just installed a LSD. kinda nice. i still cant really drive tho. my 75? i am giving that to my brother. he is on the way from texas with a flat bed trailer, behind his diesel. i wanted an SC, i am used to the injection system. stuff like that. |
Looks clean what year is it?
|
Right on Cliff! I'll have a couple SCWDP stickers for you at Parts Heaven.
I'll have my Elephant Racing T-Shirt on, so you can find me in the crowd. |
I don't have brothers like you! He moved to Bankok, and sold his pristine 1985 911 Turbo Look, instead of giving it to me. Damn kid.
|
For the leather dash, get a fabric dash cover. I got mine in dark silver (rather than black so its a little cooler). I leave mine on all the time and so far I haven't gotten any more warping over 2 years, parked outside during the day at work.

Welcome to the world of galvanized steel.
Pssst, And one of the best 911's Porsche ever made  |
WOOF! Baby! Absolutely friggin' WOOF!
That black trim is hot on the white. muhahahahahahah! |
Looks good. Congrats. I’m picking up a ’90 C2 (250hp) 60K w/engine reseal and more this Saturday.
I'd get high quality shoe polish and rub it into the leather, then buff any residue off of the surface as much as possible. Then I'd pour Lexol leather conditioner into my hands and rub down all of the leather ... let it soak in. After an hour, buff again then put towels over the seats for a week because some of the black polish will rub off. My seats look and feel pretty good now. Use the Lexol leather conditioner every 6 months. I didn't get into this regimen until a couple of my fine cracks in the leather opened up, but then I used some Super Glue to seal them shut ... it works (just squeeze a little under each side (glues it to the foam padding) then down the middle of the opening) … hold it together for a few minutes as needed. |
Whoa, that's a beautiful SC you got there  . That color of your new 911SC rocks!
PM me your address, the SCWDP sticker is on the way. Welcome to SC World Domination Platoon Unfixed!! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/wat6.gif |
Cliff,
Congratulations! Great car!!! |
Looks great and 1981 was the best year for Porsche, especially coupes!
Or.... I could say AWSUM 81!! :D http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1086324385.jpg |
tweeet!! l`ve always liked white or the crazy lime green.l ended up buying an 84 3.2, silver/black but the first car l almost bought was a white 3.0 with black leather. You never forget those initial Porsche dreams.Enjoy the leather dash, people in Hollywood pay big money for the non glare enjoyment of the cow dash(trade for carbon fiber dash cap?)
